Cronulla Triathlon Club has one of the strongest and most supportive Junior programs in NSW, catering for athletes from 5 years old right through to Youth and Junior competitors.
Our program is designed to be fun, inclusive and rewarding, building confidence and friendships while developing triathlon skills. With expert coaches, loan equipment options, and clear pathways into higher-level competition, every junior has the chance to reach their potential.
We're just about to kick off our 2026/27 Season of Triathlon, and over winter we've been working hard behind the scenes to bring you one of the best Junior seasons yet. Whether you're here to have fun, give triathlon a go, make friends, learn a new skill, or progress into a development pathway, we cater for all, starting from as young as 4 years old right up to the late teens.
This coming season we bring structure, accredited Triathlon Australia coaches, support, events, and most of all a Junior community living our motto: Train. Race. Belong.
We're excited to share that, for the first time, our Junior Members will receive a SWAG Bag, proudly sponsored by Cronulla RSL, including a bag, bucket hat, swim cap, elastic laces and a water bottle to support your season.
With funding we've received, we'll continue to develop our coaching staff who volunteer their time to support our program, buy more bikes so our Juniors can loan them (making the sport more affordable as they grow so fast!), and invest in other equipment to support our program.
How are we kicking off the season?
Join us for a fun day on Sunday 20th September, starting at 11am at Cronulla RSL and Cronulla Beach. The day includes an introduction to our coaches, club and sport, a swim and run clinic, a goal-setting session, pizza, and a guest speaker.
Mums and Dads are welcome, and feel free to bring along a friend - everyone is welcome! Look forward to seeing you there.

Season Highlights 2025/26
Seven junior athletes progressed through the state pathways to represent Cronulla and NSW at the School Sport Australia National Championships, held at Runaway Bay on the Gold Coast.
The path to the green and gold suit is extraordinarily competitive, assessed by Australia's High Performance program over sustained periods. The entire CTC community congratulates Kyle and looks forward to cheering him on in Spain this September!
