The Stu Ford Memorial Challenge is in honour of Stu Ford who suddenly passed away on the 26th November 2021. He had planned to complete the Everesting challenge alone, by repeatedly cycling up Garie Beach Hill in the Royal National Park to the staggering heights of 8,848 metres, the height of Mount Everest. Due to road closures, we will be unable to complete the Everesting challenge that Stu set himself, however we will take part in a 16km Time Trial that Stu himself was Race Director for a number of years. This event will be raising funds for The Heart Foundation, Love Mercy and The Black Dog Institute, as Stu had intended.
